May offers MPs Brexit delay vote

UK prime minister May offered a range of scenarios, If her Brexit deal is rejected.

A vote would be held to possibly rule out a no-deal Brexit, and if that passes, another on a potential delay to the process. Roger Bootle from Capital Economics assesses the changing Brexit picture, and we get an alternative view from Clemens Fuest, president of the IFO Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich. Also in the programme, top pharmaceutical executives will today be questioned by lawmakers in Washington over the pace of drug price increases. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Samira Hussein brings us the details. After the film 'Period. End of Sentence' won an Oscar on Sunday evening for its portrayal of the impact of widening access to sanitary products for girls in rural India, we hear from our reporter who visited the village featured in the film, shortly before it won its award.
