Brexit delay vote
MPs will vote whether to delay Brexit tonight after Theresa May's plan was again rejected
MPs will vote whether to delay Brexit tonight after Theresa May's plan was rejected again but the EU will need to approve any extension to the leaving date. Member of the Eurosceptic ERG group of Tory MPs, Andrew Bridgen, says the government is trying to compel MPs to vote for her deal by giving no other alternative. Shadow chancellor John McDonnell calls for a cross-party compromise while Chancellor Philip Hammond says some MPs might change their minds and finally vote for the deal the third time around.
