In session

This week's live session comes from 24-year-old singer/songwriter Mae Bradbury, from Eckington, between Pershore and Upton.
Ìý
Recently her songwriting prowess saw her make the finals of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 2 Young Folk Awards, going on to support Mark Moriss of The Bluetones.
Ìý
"Sensational music-from-the-heart with some beautiful stories to tell" - Andrew Marston.

Redditch Has Talent

Tickets are now on sale for the fifth edition of Redditch Has Talent.
Ìý
The auditions took place last month and were open to anyone over 10-years-old.
Ìý
Now they're busy putting the showcase together, which features 120 people!

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Introducing in Droitwich

This month's live sessions come from the Norbury Theatre in Droitwich.Ìý
Ìý
The 176-seat venue, which is run by local volunteers, hosts a variety of events from plays, cinema screenings and live streaming from the West End.
Ìý
The venue is situated inside Norbury House, an Art Deco building which started life as a luxury hotel - although it's role of putting up guests overnight was reasonably short-lived, having been used as a military hospital in WWII.
Ìý
The Norbury Theatre came into being in 1962 for the sole purpose for local amateur societies having a venue to perform at.
Ìý
Nowadays, they share Norbury House with 96 flats. The theatre takes up the largest area of the building, including dressing rooms on the first floor, extensive properties storage in the cellars and scenery in the old kitchens! Not forgetting, of course, the auditorium, foyer and stage!

Melody Mums

Musicians can come in all shapes and sizes - and some have young children to look after.ÌýBut what do you do if you're sick to the back teeth of singing nursery rhymes? You start Melody Mums!
Ìý
Carrie Garrett is the founder of the Worcestershire group which, despite the name, was created for dads, grandparents, carers and mums of babies and toddlers to meet up and sing the songs they like.
Ìý
The mother-of-three, who's a qualified singing teacher, felt lonely spending her days at home and wanted to do something sociable.ÌýSo they now get together every Tuesday as a way of meeting other adults - and the kids get to play together, too!
Ìý
Classes run in Cutnall Green and are starting at the Swan Theatre in Worcester next month.
