Fraud “not a priority for policeâ€
The police watchdog, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC), says forces across England and Wales and government must change how they tackle fraud. A damning report from HMIC highlighted "unacceptably wide variations" in policing, "unnecessary delays" and the lack of "proactive targeting of fraudsters".
