What’s it like to experience severe déjà vu?
Lisa says her experiences with déjà vu have not just affected her awareness of time but also her senses such as taste and smell. At times she felt so affected that she didn’t want to leave her house or socialise. Catherine Loveday, psychologist from the University of Westminster, explains that her symptoms match those of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE).
