Elinor set up Glasgow's pro-choice society after opening up about her own experience of abortion.

Keeping her abortion a secret had taken its toll on Elinor's mental health and when she finally talked about it openly, she received lots of messages from people in similar positions.

After seeing that there was a pro-life society affiliated with her university, she decided to set up Glasgow's Students for Choice. Elinor says: "If you've got lots of people talking about it from different points of view, it's going to help."
