Based in both Birmingham and Redditch, the '80s inspired pop/rock four-piece burst onto the scene with their debut single at the beginning of 2019.
Ìý
Taking influence from John Mayer, Paramore and 1975, Andrew Marston describes them as: "An amazing group with potential chart-toppers who are still in their infancy as a band, so who knows what they’ll achieve in 10 years. Watch out world!"
Ìý

Glastonbury proposal

A couple from Malvern will remember this year's Glastonbury Festival for the rest of their lives - and not just for the music.
Ìý
Jo Blain & Sarah Adams got engaged in front of the Pyramid Stage, just before Kylie performed on Sunday afternoon.
Ìý
Joe managed to get permission for a plane to fly over, carrying a banner with the words "Sarah Adams Marry Me?"
Ìý
Most importantly - she said yes - and they plan to have a Glastonbury themed wedding!

Glastonbury highlights: Years and Years

Performing on the Pyramid stage was Olly Alexander and his band Years and Years - who have previously topped the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Sound Of list.
Ìý
Olly studied at Hereford College Of Arts and became the band's lead singer after meeting at a house party and was overheard singing in the shower!

5 - 6 July: Woo Fest nr Upton

Now in its fifth year, the festival will have a continuous flow of live music throughout the day. And this year, it becomes a two-day festival!
Ìý
The event is organised by Luke Simons and his sister Ria in memory of their father John Simons, a local engineer, who was cared for by the hospice before he died in 2013, aged 66.
Ìý
The festival has now raised £38,000 for St Richard's Hospice.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Introducing at HopFest

This month's sessions were recorded in the mud at the ninth annual HopFest, which took place in the riverside town of Bewdley, featuring tonnes of local bands.
Ìý
We were there, on the Sunday, hosting a stage dedicated to Herefordshire and Worcestershire artists chosen from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Introducing Uploader.

Musicians' Masterclass

As we continue our top tips from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing Live, this week we hear from one of the most successful record producers of all time - Nile Rodgers.
Ìý
Born in New York City, Nile’s first professional gig came as a teenager working on a new TV show called Sesame Street! He then joined the house band at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem before meeting bass guitarist Bernard Edwards who he formed a production company with called Chic Organisation Limited.
Ìý
Together, they wrote, produced and played songs for Ashford & Simpson, Luther Vandross, Chic, Norma Jean Wright, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Carly Simon, Teddy Pendergrass and Debbie Harry.
Ìý
They eventually disbanded the organisation and continued to write individually with Duran Duran, Madonna, Rod Stewart, ABC, The Powerstation, Robert Plant, Ronald Isley, Jeff Beck, David Bowie, The B52’s, Depeche Mode, Slash, Cyndi Lauper, Peter Gabriel, Jody Watley, The Thompson Twins, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, The Vaughan Brothers, INXS, Paul Simon, Hall & Oats, Laurie Anderson, Sheena Easton, Grace Jones, Al Jarreau, Bryan Ferry, Sting, Eddie Murphy, David Lee Roth, Mariah Carey, David Sanborn, Joss Stone, Bob Dylan, Britney Spears, Maroon 5, Adam Lambert, Sam Sparro, La Roux, Mark Ronson, Chase & Status, Alex Newell, Nicky Romero, Michael McDonald, Tensnake, Disclosure, David Guetta, Avicii, Mystery Skull, Sam Smith, Jota Quest, Anderson .Paak, Nao, Emily Sande, Elton John, Craig David, Lunchmoney Lewis, Ke$ha, Vic Mensa, Stefflon Don, George Michael, Keith Urban, Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk and Michael Jackson.
Ìý
Chic reformed at Nile’s birthday party in the early ‘90s and Prince inspired the band to go on tour in Japan, where Bernard passed away after the last show. Nile never thought he’d play any Chic music without him - but one year later, a Japanese promoter asked Nile to continue in tribute to Bernard - which inspired Nile to play more and more.
