This week's live music comes from a Bromsgrove singer/songwriter who's been producing music since the start of the decade.

However, after starting working for a satellite communications company - a job which has taken him all over the world - Damian Lewis been struggling to find the time to make music!

He also took on the Marathon Des Sables - the world's toughest race across the Sahara desert - and spends the remainder of his time volunteering for a disaster relief charity.

Influenced by the likes of Coldplay, Bob Dylan, James Blunt and Keane, this week's live session was recorded live at Hopfest, near Bewdley.

Elgar birthplace break-in

A site of historical significance in Worcester has been dealt a devastating blow.

Last Thursday morning at 2am, thieves broke into the cottage at the Elgar Birthplace Museum in Lower Broadheath.Ìý
Ìý
They stole a number of medals and a signed photograph of Edward Elgar, which have been described as "nationally important".

The Ross Country Music Festival

The 17th Ross Country Music Festival is going ahead, this weekend, despite the death of the organiser who passed away just four days after the last event.

Colin Gray, who put the event on for St Michael's Hospice, raised £5,000 last year - bringing his total up to £47,000.

In the 35th anniversary of the Hereford care provider, his wife Anne is hoping to top £50,000 in his memory.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Introducing at HopFest

This month's sessions were recorded in the mud at the ninth annual HopFest, which took place in the riverside town of Bewdley, featuring tonnes of local bands.

We were there, on the Sunday, hosting a stage dedicated to Herefordshire and Worcestershire artists chosen from theÌýÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Introducing Uploader.

Glastonbury highlights: Years and Years

Performing on the Pyramid stage was Olly Alexander and his band Years and Years - who have previously topped the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music Sound Of list.

Olly studied at Hereford College Of Arts and became the band's lead singer after meeting at a house party and was overheard singing in the shower!
