Bruce: Newcastle fans entitled to boycott Arsenal game
Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce says the clubs fans are “entitled to boycott” their Premier League season opening game at home to Arsenal on Sunday.
It’s been reported that some Newcastle supporters won’t attend the game in protest against owner Michael Ashley’s running of the club.
Speaking to the ѿý 5 Live All About Newcastle United podcast, Bruce added he was under “no disillusionment” about the fans frustrations when he was appointed last month, but says he hopes “they give him time”.
