Owen Calvert-Lyons, head of theatre and artist development, and Aoife Van Linden Tol, explosion artist, are from Ovalhouse Theatre’s ‘Demolition Season’, which is a project that sees artists knock down parts of the building for the theatre’s final season in its Kennington home. A collaboration between structural engineers and theatremakers are facilitating this unique opportunity that gives artists freedom to take risks on and off stage.
