Warburtons 'on the verge of compostable packaging'

Jonathan Warburton, the chairman of Warburtons bakery, has told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live they are on the verge of having a compostable packaging alternative for their white 'Toastie' sliced bread.

They currently use unrecyclable wax paper packaging, which the company says it needs to hold the bread tightly because it's taller.
