The 'real' Derry girls and the dissidents
Although the terrorist threat in Great Britain has been lowered, the threat in Northern Ireland remains severe – meaning an attack is highly likely.
The threat comes from various dissident republican groups of which the so-called New IRA is the most prominent and dangerous. It was responsible for the shooting of the young journalist Lyra McKee during a riot in Derry in April. Peter Taylor meets her friends.
