Sudan dissolves party of ex-leader Omar al Bashir
Transitional authorities in Sudan have approved a law to dissolve Omar al Bashir's party, the NCP and repealed a public order act which was often used to oppress the Sudanese people. Residents in the capital Khartoum have been celebrating on the streets. Among them was Samahir Mubarak, the spokeswoman for the Sudanese Professionals Association which spearheaded the protests against the former President. She spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Newsday.
