Winter Olympic silver medalist Gus Kenworthy has told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live why he loved being on RuPaul's Drag Race.

He told 5 Live Breakfast: 鈥淎s soon as I came out, one of the first things I was gunning for was trying to get on Drag Race鈥�

Kenworthy also urged more athletes to 鈥渟tand up鈥� and say 鈥淚'm gay, I'm proud鈥�.

Kenworthy represented the United States at the 2014 and 2018 Games, winning a silver medal in slopestyle in Sochi.

He recently switched allegiance from Team USA to Great Britain - he holds a British passport and has a British-born mother.
