Can Finland become carbon neutral by 2035?
For decades a company called Vapo has harvested peat on an industrial scale.
Peat - decayed vegetation which is then dried - is burnt like a fossil fuel.
As a power source it's dirtier than coal and, after it's been harvested, drained peat-lands continue to emit greenhouse gasses.
So, is Finland doing enough to ensure they achieve carbon neutrality in just 15 years time?
