Is Uri Geller the ‘super-talented weirdo’ Dominic Cummings wants?

Illusionist and magician Uri Geller has applied to work for the civil service after Dominic Cummings' posted a job advert calling for "super-talented weirdos".

Dominic Cummings, one of prime minister’s chief advisors, posted a job advert in the beginning of January calling for “weirdos” to apply to undertake jobs in government. Mr Cummings says he wants to “hire an unusual set of people” and encourage a more diverse workforce inside Number 10 and in the civil service. But was Uri Geller the candidate he was expecting?
