Dan spent a few moments too long before explaining to Emma Barnett how he met his wife Dawn on soon to be axed TV show Take Me Out.

Dawn puts it down to "a bit of eye contact" between the pair.

After a decade on our screens ITV bosses have said the dating show has 鈥渞un its course鈥� after more than 100 episodes.

Hosted by Paddy McGuinness, the programme saw a single man descend onto the stage from the 鈥渓ove lift鈥� before being greeted by a panel of 30 single women.

The show was responsible for eight weddings and six babies with Dan and Dawn the first contestants to get married, after meeting on the second series.
