Visible Differences In Villains
If given the challenge of finding the villain amongst a lineup of characters, it is more than likely that the person with some sort of scarring would be top of your list. Hollywood seems to have ingrained the idea that film villains and deformities go hand in hand. Whilst this may now be an expected trope in some franchises, such as James Bond, to what extent is it negatively impacting the way we look at individuals with visible differences outwith the world of film and TV?
