'We've always had each other’s backs but that one night I couldn't do a thing'

In December 2019, a man called Edgars Grisulis was sentenced to just under 10 years in prison.

His car mounted the pavement and killed a woman who was waiting for a bus in 2018

That woman was Annette Booth.

Grisulis pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving, and police found that the alcohol in his blood was way over the legal limit.

In sentencing the judge said that Grisulis had 'torn her family apart' which includes her husband Stephen Booth and two sons.

Stephen spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester's Rob Watson at a café just down the road from the bus stop on Woodgate, where the crash happened.
