
Coronavirus: Boris Johnson says UK can ‘turn the tide’ in 12 weeks
Boris Johnson has said the UK "can turn the tide" against coronavirus in the next 12 weeks.
Mr Johnson thanked Britons for their "huge efforts" in complying with government advice on stopping the spread of the disease.
Millions across Europe have found themselves under lockdown.
But in Britain many seem to be ignoring advice to engage in social distancing – leaving some asking whether the UK’s enforcement could be tougher.
