Around the country NHS staff are facing immense challenges as they battle to save lives.
Katrina is an A&E nurse in Essex. She told 5 Live's Stephen Nolan that the situation in her hospital is exceptionally difficult at the moment.
She said they "need to keep fighting for the right protective equipment”.
Speaking to ѿý News, a spokeswoman for the Department of Health and Social Care said: "We are working round the clock to make sure that our heroic frontline healthcare staff feel safe, and the full weight of the government is behind the effort to make sure PPE is reaching the frontline."
