Researchers across the world are working on developing a coronavirus vaccine.
Ian Haydon volunteered to be injected with an experimental Covid-19 vaccine, the first to be tested on humans.
The scientist from Seattle told 5 Live presenter Stephen Nolan how the vaccine works, why he took part in the trial and how long it could be before a vaccine is ready for the virus.
