
Andrew Cole: Lockdown has been 'difficult' after kidney transplant
Ex-Manchester United & Newcastle striker Andrew Cole has been speaking to ѿý Radio 5 Live about shielding during the coronavirus pandemic.
Cole had a kidney transplant in 2017 and is one of more than a million people told to shield for 12 weeks by the UK Government.
He has set up The Andy Cole Fund which supports Kidney Research UK .
Speaking to Chris Latchem, Cole said: “It’s a daily grind. No day comes easy.”
