Leverkusen boss confident Bundesliga will resume in May
The Sporting Director of one of the biggest clubs in Germany says he’s still confident that politicians will give the Bundesliga the green light to resume the season in mid-May.
Simon Rolfes from Bayer Leverkusen says they have got “really good feedback” from politicians about the League's detailed plans for staging games behind closed doors with regular testing. He talks to Sportsworld's John Bennett about the measures being put in place to ensure the safety of the staff and the players, as well as how the players are feeling about a return to football.
