Coronavirus contact tracing: How much should apps protect privacy?
Tech entrepreneur MartÃn Varsavsky, who made Madrid's coronavirus contact-tracing app, believes it should have been designed to gather more of people's personal details. Sophie in 't Veld, a Dutch member of the European Parliament, has a different point of view. She argues privacy's a human right that should not be undermined by the apps. They shared their views with Digital Planet reporter Jennifer O’Mahony.
