Sanitation expert Dr Alison Parker from Cranfield University in the UK is helping to develop a nano-membrane toilet that can transform poo into ash and wee into clean water. The project's in response to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s challenge to scientists around the world to ‘re-invent the toilet’.
