Tom Knight is an RNLI lifeboat volunteer in St Agnes and had his bike pinched after he responded to a "shout".

He made the point that stopping to get a lock out and making the bike secure would waste valuable seconds - time better spent getting the lifeboat out to sea.

After reporting his story on 蜜芽传媒 Radio Cornwall, it wasn鈥檛 long before someone had come up with a replacement.
