
Mercurio: Challenges still ‘fairly great’ with restarting Line of Duty production
Line of Duty writer Jed Mercurio and actor Vicky McClure have spoken to ѿý Radio 5 Live about filming the next series after lockdown.
Mercurio, who created and wrote the series, 5 Live Drive's Tony Livesey that "the challenges are still fairly great" because "there are still very high levels or risk associated with starting a major production."
Filming on the ѿý drama was suspended after four weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Vicky McClure, who plays DI Kate Fleming in the series, said "they were kept extremely safe" whilst they were working, adding that "it's going to be nice to get back to it, whenever that is”.
