The chart-topping movie that cost $0 to make

A movie made with a budget of $0 has topped the US box office charts.

‘Unsubscribe’ is a horror film produced by actor and YouTuber Eric Tabach and filmmaker Christian Nilsson, who used a loophole created by theatre closures during the coronavirus pandemic to get their movie to the top of the charts.

Speaking to 5 Live’s Adrian Chiles, Christian said the biggest hurdle the pair faced was getting film website IMDB to accept the movie as “they did not think it was possible for [Ozark and I Am Legend actor] Charlie Tahan to be in a $0 horror film."
