South Korea and Australia fall into recession

The G20 economies can't protect themselves from the pandemic.

South Korea follows Japan and Singapore while Australia faces its biggest budget deficit since the Second World War. Also: the head of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, rejects claims by the US Secretary of State that he was "bought" by China, and the number of deaths in South Africa could be far higher than previously thought.
