Writer and creator of the hit TV series, 'Chernobyl', Craig Mazin, tells 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live how 鈥榤ishandling of the truth鈥� became the central theme of the series.

Speaking to the Must Watch podcast's Nihal Arthanayake, he warned that society is yet to heed the main lesson from the Soviet nuclear disaster: 鈥淓veryday someone will say, 鈥榦h my God, this is just like Chernobyl鈥�, I think on the one hand that鈥檚 success, on the other hand, it鈥檚 still happening!鈥�

The hit HBO show has been nominated for 14 BAFTAs at this year鈥檚 awards.
