Rankin: ‘BAFTA photos were a miracle’
British photographer Rankin has photographed the 2020 BAFTA nominees remotely during lockdown.
Speaking to 5 Live’s Adrian Chiles, the acclaimed portrait photographer explained how he had directed family members of the nominees over video chat to take the photos on their phones.
He said it was “a miracle” all the photographs had turned out useable and that he was “super happy” some of the self-portraits closely resemble his work.
This clip is originally from Chiles on Friday, 31 July 2020.
