ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live listener Glenn described what happened when he was on Sandgate beach in Kent with his family and a boat carrying migrants landed.

Glenn, who said he had military background, advised members of the public to call the police if they find themselves in a similar situation.

More than 4,800 people have reached the UK after crossing the Channel in about 360 small boats this year.
