Social gathering changes 'throw policing under a bus'
The chair of the South Yorkshire Police Federation has criticised the government for expecting the police to enforce a new coronavirus law, making it illegal for people in England to gather in groups of more than six people.
Speaking on ѿý Radio 5 Live, Steve Kent told Nicky Campbell: “That kind of hard-line image is firstly for me, completely unrealistic, in that we haven’t got the resources to do it, and also a bit misleading”.
