Leading British scientist compares those who believe in herd immunity with the 鈥榓nti-vaccinations鈥� debate.

Professor Peter Openshaw, member of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE), says within the science community those who believe in herd immunity are a minority and likened their position to those who don鈥檛 believe in vaccines.

Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Emma Barnett, he said it is an 鈥渆xtreme view to say we should just let this virus go and get back to normal social activity.鈥�
