Manchester students: 'It’s been a wild party since it locked down’
Two students who are having to self-isolate at university have said they didn’t feel safe in their halls of residence.
About 1,700 university students at Manchester Metropolitan University have been told to self-isolate after 127 tested positive for Covid-19.
Phoebe, who says she is higher risk from coronavirus because of severe asthma, told 5 Live presenter Stephen Nolan “it’s been a wild party since it locked down”.
She added: “We didn’t feel safe last night”.
