Two students who are having to self-isolate at university have said they didn鈥檛 feel safe in their halls of residence.

About 1,700 university students at Manchester Metropolitan University have been told to self-isolate after 127 tested positive for Covid-19.

Phoebe, who says she is higher risk from coronavirus because of severe asthma, told 5 Live presenter Stephen Nolan 鈥渋t鈥檚 been a wild party since it locked down鈥�.

She added: 鈥淲e didn鈥檛 feel safe last night鈥�.
