Drive-through wedding bypasses Covid rules
Roma Popat and Vinal Patel managed to have 250 guests at their wedding, despite restrictions to stop the spread of Covid-19.
The happy couple came up with the innovative idea of holding a drive-through wedding where guests could adhere to social distancing rules by viewing the wedding on a large screen.
Speaking to 5 Live’s Emma Barnett, Saheli Mirpuri from Saheli Events said guests were all “decked up in Indian attire” and got to see Roma and Vinal as they rode round the parked cars in a golf buggy.
