MP Mark Fletcher has said he鈥檚 spent his 鈥渆ntire life terrified of overtly aggressive men鈥�.

The Conservative back bencher spoke out about his own experiences of domestic abuse during a debate about a new domestic abuse bill in the House of Commons.

Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Emma Barnett, he said he 鈥渘ever wanted to be a poster boy鈥� for the legislation but that he hopes speaking out has shown domestic abuse is not just 鈥渁 women鈥檚 issue鈥�.
