Chris Froome: ‘I don’t feel anywhere close to finished’
Four time Tour De France Winner, Chris Froome told 5 Live Breakfast that he feels ready for his cycling return, following his crash last year which saw him end up in intensive care with a broken neck, femur, elbow, hip and ribs.
Speaking to 5 Live presenter Patrick Kielty, Froome said the real turning point was joining his team in January this year as it was the first time he’d been out on a bike properly since his crash.
He added: ‘It would be absolutely incredible for me if I could get my fifth Tour De France in the coming years”.
