Dr Amit Patel on his experience of sight loss, and appearing at the Eden Project's Festival of Discovery
Imagine waking up one day and finding out you'd lost your sight.
It’s something that’s almost too horrible to imagine – but seven years ago, that’s exactly what happened to Dr Amit Patel.
A catastrophic haemorrhage robbed him of his sight and, ever since, Amit has been campaigning to show that a disability shouldn’t stop you doing what you love.
He’ll be appearing at The Eden Project’s online Festival of Discovery this Saturday and, ahead of that, has been sharing his story with our weekend presenter Jack Murley.
