Sandra Horley: Using my voice for women who weren't heard
Refuge is the UK's largest domestic violence service with a growing network of refuges and community-based support including a 24-hour national domestic violence helpline. Supporting up to 80,000 women and children annually, next year it celebrates 50 years since opening the world's first refuge in Chiswick. For a lot of that time Sandra Horley has been Refuge’s Chief Executive. She joins Nicola Beckford to talk about her time in charge and the women she wanted to protect.
