"Leaving care during the pandemic was extremely overwhelming"

Care leaver Isatu Momoh tells 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live about her own experience of leaving the care system during the pandemic.

Isatu had been in the care system for most of her life, but when turning 21 she was asked to leave the accommodation she had been living at.

Speaking to 5 Live Breakfast, she said: "Being told in September that I needed to move out and find a new place and start living independently was quite a lot of information to take in at once."

On Tuesday 15th December, 5 Live held the day #MyCovidYear and were hearing the listeners stories from a year living in the pandemic.
