Shops need 'total clarity' as to when they can reopen.
That was the call from Scottish Retail Consortium (SRC) director David Lonsdale, who has outlined what the sector needs as it faces another lockdown.
Business leaders have warned that plans to lock down mainland Scotland for three weeks from Boxing Day will come as a "hammer blow" to the economy.
The SRC said closing shops could see retailers lose out on £135m per week in lost revenue.
