Dr Kaye Wise Whitehead, Professor of African American Studies at Loyola University Maryland has said she is 鈥渆xcited about Joe biden and Kamala Harris鈥� America鈥�.

The academic who also presents the radio show Today with Dr Kaye told Colin Murray there is a 鈥渂rowning鈥� happening in the United States and the majority of people are pushing for 鈥渃hange鈥�.

She said: 鈥淚鈥檓 excited about鈥�the black women, the Asian women, the latino men, the Latina women and so on who are actually going to be at the table."

She added: "Joe Biden鈥檚 greatest legacy is being able to bring together people to reflect what our nation looks like.鈥�
