Jonathan was diagnosed with HIV in 1982 when he was working as an actor.

Remembering attitudes to gay men in the 1980s, he said he was put "on a side ward" while he waited for test results.

Nearly 40 years later, George was diagnosed with HIV when he was 19 and studying at university.
