Director Paul Greengrass on his latest Tom Hanks film and the impact of streaming on cinema
Paul Greengrass is one of Britain’s foremost directors — known for films such as United 93 and three Bourne films with Matt Damon.
His latest film, News of the World, is his first Western, for which he teamed up with Tom Hanks for a second time.
It’s released in the UK on 10 February on Netlix.
Greengrass talks to Kirsty Wark about the threat of streaming to cinema, working with Tom Hanks and whether another Bourne film with Matt Damon is on the cards in the future.
