People wanting to start a family, who need to use a sperm donor say they feel forced into finding sperm online in unregulated spaces because they don’t quality for NHS funding and private clinics are too expensive
The UK’s fertility regulator has warned that doing so carries 'significant risks'.
Lorraine told us how she used a Facebook group to find a sperm donor after she and her same-sex partner felt priced out of private fertility clinics and they felt like they had no other option.
