Women's safety: What needs to happen next?
Campaigner and columnist at the i paper, Kate Maltby and Rahila Gupta, writer and Southall Black Sisters member, were among thousands of people who paid their respects to Sarah Everard at a vigil on Clapham Common in South London at the weekend.
They spoke to Woman's Hour's about the changes they think need to happen next to tackle the issue of women’s safety in both public and domestic spaces.
Kate told Emma Barnett how important it is that the police start taking sexual violence and harassment seriously, while Rahila said she believes we are now starting to see "a shift in the culture of disbelief".
