'Going through the justice system as a woman is thankless'
With the current focus on women being safe in public places, they've been encouraged to seek police support if needed. But how much trust do women have in the Police? And how much damage is done to that confidence when stories of alleged poor policing of events & inappropriate behaviour are highlighted? Former Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire Police force Susannah Fish told Emma Barnett she would struggle to report a crime against herself to the police.
