Presenter Mel Giedroyc said she鈥檚 not watched Bake off since it moved to Channel 4.

"I don't want that to sound snarky,鈥� she said.

She presented The Great British Bake Off alongside Sue Perkins from 2010 until 2016. When the show moved to Channel 4 for its 8th series in 2017, Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig took over presenting duties.

鈥淧ut it this way if it had gone right down the dumper, I鈥檇 be watching it every week,鈥� she joked with 5 Live's Nihal Arthanayake.

"Joking aside it is a very good format,鈥� she said. "Sue and I always said that show is about the bakers.... if you've got great bakers you've got a great show."
